“At Work With…” Series

AimerAmour “At Work With…” Series Presents: DJ Gemini

AimerAmour spent the day with DJ Gemini at the WKYS 93.9 Studio during the noon Meow Music Mix with Jeannie Jones. Gemini discussed reinventing himself daily, the research DJs must do before going into a new market, let viewers in on his radio tricks and new mixtape projects.

Raised in his father’s music store, the charismatic Baltimore native has been producing mixtapes for friends since age 15. GeminiĀ  spoke candidly to Howard University’s Entertainment Organization Endustry Power Players (EPP) about mastering his craft, staying organized, prepared and ahead of the game as well as let aspiring DJs know what they can do to make a name for themselves on campus and in the area.

AimerAmour “At Work With…” Series Presents: Ill Will

Rest In Peace to my dear friend William Walker. He was such a wonderful person that really believed in me and was an avid supporter of my magazine. He was a blessing to all. My condolences and prayers to his family and friends.

(From the Summer 2010 Issue of AimerAmour)

When you think of strength and perseverance, DMV (DC/Maryland/Virginia) Radio Personality Will Walker, better known as Ill Will comes to mind. With almost a decade of experience, Walker began as an intern for WKYS 93.9 and worked his way up the ladder to become one of the most popular voices on the area’s airwaves. Walker does a video interview with AimerAmour where he offers advice for new artists trying to get their music on the radio. Walker also reflects on his time at the station and discusses his ability to successfully work through a very personal health situation.
