COMMON: The Dreamer/The Believer

GRAMMY Award Winning Rapper, Actor and Activist COMMON speaks with popular On-Air Personality Aladdin at The Park’s 4th year anniversary. The Chicago native discusses his 9th studio album, “The Dreamer/The Believer” in stores December 20th. Since the release of his debut album, “Can I Borrow a Dollar” in 1992, Common has become a music industry veteran in addition to being highly sought-after for many television shows and movies. In the interview, Common discusses his current starring role as Elam Ferguson, a freed slave in the modern western “Hell on Wheels”.
Common also gives his insight on the future of rap music mentioning that at one point he stopped listening to hip-hop but upcoming artists such as Kendrick Lamar, J.Cole and Meek Mills have renewed his faith in the future of music.
